Tannehill

We went to Tannehill this past weekend. Owen loves horses and had a fit when his ride was over. He played on the playground, rode the train, and threw rocks in the water with daddy.

Nashville

We left Memphis after 2 days and drove to Nashville. We came to realize quickly that there was nothing to do in Nashville for us. We stayed one night and then came back home.

Sights from Memphis

We stayed at the Peabody Hotel. They have ducks that come down the elevator and walk a red carpet to a fountain where they stay most of the day. Then at 5:00 the ducks come out of the fountain and go back to the top of the roof where they stay. This has been a tradition since the 1930's. The hotel was immaculate. Owen loved the ducks. So did I. They bring a large crowd.

Memphis Zoo

We took Owen to the Memphis Zoo. It is a lot nicer than the Birmingham Zoo.

Graceland

We went to Graceland to see where Elvis lived. It was really neat. The house is the same from the day he died in the 1970's. Owen's favorite part was touring the Lisa Marie (Elvis' private jet).

Tupelo, Mississippi

We were heading to Memphis for Spring Break and we decided to stop off in Tupelo to see Elvis' birthplace. It was neat to see.

Snow!-3/1/07

Owen wasn't too sure what to think about the snow. When he looked out the window he said "Uh-oh". He could hardly move I had him so bundled up. He didn't like walking in his boots. He didn't like the gloves because he couldn't suck his 2 fingers. He just wanted to play in the gutters where the snow was melting to water.

Momma caught me!

Owen figured out how to climb into his drawer up onto his shelf and play with his movies. We had to move his tv to the top shelf from the bottom when he kept playing with the electronics.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Owen's 2nd Valentine's day was better than his first. Last year I was sick with the flu and didn't get to enjoy the day with him. This year we went to eat and play with Adison and Jennifer and went to Luke's birthday party. We spent the evening with daddy.
