Guntersville State Park-August 2009
First camping trip! We bought a camper about a month ago and we went on our first camping trip to Guntersville. We had so much fun. We saw tons of deer. We hiked and went to their beach. We can't wait until we go back.Splashpad-August 2009

We took Owen to Outback to eat for his birthday. He loves steak. We had them sing to him and bring him ice cream. He loved it!

Aunt Cheryl's House
We went to my Aunt Cheryl's house on Logan Martin Lake. We had a blast. We have all lost touch over the years, and after Granny Parsons passed away we made a pact to get together from now on. July 19, 2009
Panama City Beach
We went to the beach on Monday July 13th and came back that Friday. We had a blast!
4th of July
We had fun on the 4th this year. We went to the river and invited Luke and Renee Hurst down. We ate, swam and rode in the boat. Later that night we met my sister, Larry and Michelle at the fireworks.Panama City Beach

Children's Hands On Museum in Tuscaloosa
Jennifer and I bought summer passes to the Hands on Museum in Tuscaloosa. Owen, Adison, Michelle, and Kaylea had fun! If you have never been, you need to go. We also went to Chuck E. Cheese afterwards to eat. June 2009
Playing with Adi in my pirate pool that lasted 1 day before it got a hole in it. I wouldn't advise buying a blow up pool.
The Birmingham Zoo!
Jennifer and I took Owen and Adison to the zoo before it go too hot. It was still hot. They had a blast! They always do together!Happy Birthday Ne-Ne!
We gave my mom a surprise birthday this year. We did surprise her! Happy 62nd birthday mom.

Owen after Alabama Adventure with Daddy!
Well, needless to say, Owen ended up with a bloody head and nose after going to Alabama Adventure with John, Keith and Cole Lewis. I have nothing else to say about that.

Destin, Florida
We went to Destin for Memorial Day weekend. We had a blast!. It was just the 3 of us. Owen rode the rides (he loves them!). It was sorta rainy from a tropical depression blowing in.

I know I haven't added any pictures lately. I will I promise. My grandmother died in April and for anyone that is a teacher knows that May is jam packed. I did 18 memory books plus we did an end of the year kindergarten celebration, end of the year procedures at school, with a stomach virus and a trip to Destin thrown in there. Don't forget my anniversary of 3 years either. The only excuse I have for June is another stomach virus, major migraine and just not updating it (plus my computer room is a nightmare). I will update soon, I promise.

Well, for those of you that know my Granny Parsons, she passed away yesterday morning. She had to go to the hospital, against her will, last Sunday. She had pneumonia again, congestive heart failure, and they found out she had stage 3 cancer. She also was suffering from dementia and alzeheimers. It has been a hard weekend and we will miss her so much!

Tannehill
We went to Tannehill this past weekend. Owen loves horses and had a fit when his ride was over. He played on the playground, rode the train, and threw rocks in the water with daddy.
Nashville
We left Memphis after 2 days and drove to Nashville. We came to realize quickly that there was nothing to do in Nashville for us. We stayed one night and then came back home.Sights from Memphis
We stayed at the Peabody Hotel. They have ducks that come down the elevator and walk a red carpet to a fountain where they stay most of the day. Then at 5:00 the ducks come out of the fountain and go back to the top of the roof where they stay. This has been a tradition since the 1930's. The hotel was immaculate. Owen loved the ducks. So did I. They bring a large crowd.

When John Proposed-9/10/05
John proposed to me at an Alabama football game. He put the ring inside of a huge strawberry and waited until I picked it up to eat it. I was clueless and very shocked.

- My name is Crystal Dillard. I teach kindergarten at Pleasant Grove Elementary. This coming up year will be my 5th year to teach kindergarten.
